TO REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE PLEASE CONTACT THE CENTRE DIRECTLY: Dr Rod MacKenzie - rod.mackenzie@nhs.net This course is aimed at all members of the multi-disciplinary team involved in the care of the critically ill patient with sharp and blunt thoracic trauma. Using a format like Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), this course will include didactic lectures as well as hands-on practice with the equipment needed to perform successful emergency resuscitative (‘Clamshell’) thoracotomy.
