CSU-ALS / CALS E-Learning

 

The CSU-ALS / CALS E-Learning serves as both a preparation for and maintenance of certification as a CSU-ALS / CALS Provider or Trainer.  It is a critical component of this multimodal team based education that includes lectures, videos, E-Learning, a course book and hands-on training.   

 

Provider Certification

 

The Provider certification achieved by completion of this training is valid for 2 years and is renewed by completing a live course as well as completing the E-learning Full Course.  The E-Learning serves as an adjunct the the certification but does not in part or n whole replace th elive course for certification.  

 

Trainer Certification

 

To achieve CSU-ALS / CALS Traiuner status:

1.  You must Complete a CSU-ALS / CALS Provider course and be current as a CSU-ALS Provider.

2.  You must complete a CSU-ALS Trainer course

3.  You must be Proctored twice teaching the course

 

To maintain certification:

1.  Trainers must provide proof of having taught 2 courses per year

2.  Trainers must complete the E-learning Full courses

3.  Trainers must pay a recertification fee to update their certificate

4.  trainers must be affiliated with a CSU-ALS / CALS Center - you may not teach the courses without being at a 

     formally accredited center
